Dynamic Sreening is at the heart of the WoodWeta's unique design.
By utilising a large revolving drum, the Weta has an unprecedented 38 square metres of screening area.
In addition to this, the entire surface is dynamic. That is, the surface is constantly in motion. This offers the product absolutely no area in which it can remain stationary.
As the drum is mounted on an incline, the product is forced to tumble and slide in a chaotic manner simultaneously, across and down the drum.
This action breaks up and disperses the raw product, allowing the trapped fines to shake free, getting screened out, prior to coming into contact with the disc.
This unique action frees the trapped dirt and screens it out, preventing it from mixing with the processed product. This unwanted product is rejected out either side of the WoodWeta ,where it is collected for sale, or returned to the land.
This reject product resembles potting mix, as it has been ground up finely, contains bark fines, composted leaves, pine needles, pumice etc. all mixed in with it. We have sold it with excellent results with gardeners!
The WoodWeta consistantly produces cleaner product , without compromising production or quality.
With a totally dynamic screening surface, the problems of bridging and jam ups are a thing of the past.
The speed of the drum can be altered to adjust the length of the finished product, the screening apertures can be quickly changed to adjust the cross section.
With such a large screening area, the aperture size can be tailored very closely to the desired size with out sacrificing production.
The WoodWeta is like a Trommel screen and a hogger built in to one machine!
